Know Your Rights
Maryland law requires that you, the vehicle owner, have the right to choose where you have your vehicle repaired after an accident. This means that you can decide which auto body and collision repair shop you take your vehicle to for accident repairs. In Maryland, you are only required to get one estimate. You do not need to go to multiple shops and present multiple estimates to your insurance company. You have the right to have the shop of your choice make repairs on your vehicle. The law also states that you are in no way required to use a shop that is selected by a claims adjuster. In Maryland, you are completely in control of choosing, which shop does repair on your vehicle. This allows you to choose Waddell's Customs.
FAQs
How does claims processing work?
In most cases, your insurance company will need to see the vehicle and will write the estimate or hire an appraisal company to do the same. You can drop your vehicle off here for the inspection or go to the insurance "drive through" and bring the estimate to us. In some cases, we can write your estimate and fax it to the insurance company.
What products do you use?
Our refinishing products are the finest available in the industry, which allows us to offer a lifetime warranty on all collision repairs without worries about fading, peeling, or cracking years after your vehicle has been repaired. We are proud to use eco-friendly, waterborne paint and low VOC materials.
What type of commitment to excellence do you have?
State of the art equipment and technology mean nothing without a dedicated team of professionals with top quality training and many years of experience to provide the best quality repairs possible. Our goal is to get your car repaired quickly and safely to pre-accident condition.
Why are some repair estimates lower?
A lower estimate may not include necessary aspects of a repair such as front or rear wheel alignments and reaming your headlamps. Lower priced estimates may also include lower quality paint products, aftermarket parts, used parts, and missed parts that can lower the cost of an estimate.
